Owner & CEO, Staybridge Way Independent Living LLC

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Ruthie Lance Smith has dedicated her career to the well-being and care of others. Her extensive clinical background provided her with a front-row seat to the challenges individuals face when they lack a stable environment to return to independence.

Through her active participation in local community outreach programs, Ruthie saw firsthand the critical shortage of clean, safe, and structured affordable housing. She realized that for many individuals in transition, housing isn’t just a place to sleep—it is the essential foundation needed to rebuild a life with dignity. This realization became the spark for Staybridge Way Independent Living LLC

A Vision for the Future Ruthie’s commitment goes beyond a single location. Her long-term vision is to expand Staybridge Way Independent Living LLC into a network of high-quality shared housing properties across the region.
